Big Brother: Andrew Vartanian

Andre is a huge Los Angeles Kings, Lakers and Dodgers fan. His favorite TV shows are Scrubs, Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm. He worships the ground John Wooden walks on and would love to just spend an hour with him to just hear him talk. He pledged AEΩ Fall of his Sophomore year and has loved every part of it. He has made life-long connections with men that he has no hesitation in calling his brothers. “We do everything together… everything from eating to working out and from watching games to going out at nights. I love my brothers and I love this organization and I would do anything for them to advance in life as they would do the same for me” he says. His favorite quotes are anything and everything that John Wooden says, including “The main ingredient of stardom is the rest of the team.”

For Aleksan, there’s nothing better than a group of friends to kick it with, and if they’re Armenian, that’s twice the fun. AEO is that and more to him. Not only does he enjoy playing poker with the guys, but they also engage in activities that are aimed at promoting the betterment of Armenia and Kharabagh through direct activism and education. He considers his brothers friendly, the atmosphere chill, and everyone proud to be Armenian. “I couldn’t ask for more!” he says.

Big Brother: Arsen Vorskerchyan

Alexander believes himself to be business minded and has an outlook to life as that which will excel his sensible self towards achieving his goals with high aspirations of self confidence and personal renewal. He considers the crown of responsibility heavy, so to keep all wheels from spinning without traction, He governs his own life with a respectable sense of dignity, loyalty, trustworthiness, obedience, respect, thriftiness, cheer, bravery, friendship, courteousness, kindness, cleanliness, and reverence. He dopes that when he reaches the top of the mountain only then may he boast about what he has achieved but not to scrutinize or defer his future, but only to advise and recommend the young, weak, senseless, and less-fortunate to achieve an archival scope for life before hints of death. His bottom line for life has to do with what Fabolous sung: “It’s okay to lose your pride over someone you love…Don’t lose someone you love though over your pride.” Alexander hopes for you to remember that the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. His favorite quotes are “I live for the nights I won’t remember, with the people I will never forget” and “Drive it like you stole it so take no doubt, leave no regret.”

Andre is currently a second year Social Ecology major at UCI, and is waiting for the Urban and Regional Planning major to be established so he can switch to that. He plans to attend graduate school to get an MBA, and see where that takes him. He loves spending time with his friends and especially with his AEΩ brothers, since they have grown to become closer than any other friends he has ever known. He likes to watch old TV shows and listen to progressive trance and house music. He also has somewhat of a background in music, having taken drum lessons for 6 years before moving to Irvine. Through his unforgettable experiences with AEO thus far, Tevan has come to understand the power of unity through strength and knowledge—one cannot succeed without the help of others, and his AEO brothers have always been there to help him. There are some interesting points about Tevan. Allen joined AEO in the Spring of his freshman year, and to this day, it’s been one of the best decisions of his college career. He met a great group of guys who are not just his friends, but his brothers (and even roomates) that he has shared countless memories and moments of laughter with. “We’ve all had so many good times and are a close bunch, something that is rare to find these days” he says. His favorite place to eat in Irvine is Philly’s Best. His most memorable quote is “It’s not what you think, what you know, or what you believe that is of consequence in the end. In the final outcome, the only thing of real consequence is what you do.”

Big Brother: Greg Ohanian

I don’t wanna leave this place! I’ve had my best times in college and joining Alpha Epsilon Omega was definitely one of the best things I did. As of now I am working to step foot into the marketing industry, conquering the world and one day, the universe. My hobbies include being a nerd (which is something I am damn proud of), eating (almost anything) and taking care of my turtles.

Big Bro: Steven Boghoskan

The main thing that stands out through Hayk’s experience with AEΩ is his pledge brothers. His pledge program was new, fun, and at times, draining, but it was definitely a unique experience. He loves football, the Lakers, and loud mosh-pitting shows. These interests served as a catalyst to  of his off-campus relationships with all of his brothers. It’s been roughly 2 years since he has graduated from UCI, but some of his best friends, past roommates and coworkers are his brothers from AEΩ. He is currently in a clinical psychology forensic doctoral program at a small private school in LA and hopes to graduate in 2012.

Words cant explain the fun times they have all had together and he is grateful to have brothers like all of them. He is currently working at a pharmacy with aspirations to attend pharmacy school in the future. His favorite memories have been the multiple sports days that they have played through, the long crazy nights that they have all spent together, and of course his europe trip with Chris Donikian after graduation. One of Leo’s biggest accomplishments which until this day makes him very proud is starting the Gamma Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Omega at UCI and watching it grow everyday to the level of success it has gotten today. If he was to pinpoint one great thing he has taken home from Alpha Epsilon Omega would be the opportunity it created for him to make eternal bonds with folks from his campus and other campuses which he probably would have never met if it wasn’t for Alpha Epsilon Omega. Currently he is working on his master’s degree in Business Administration at CSULA. He can confirm that working full time and going to school full time is really not as fun as undergrad was for him…thus, He can’t wait until Spring of 2009 for his school to be over.
